The Story
Sam wakes up in a ruined space and tries to remember the event that caused the disaster. His memories take the form of particles that fill the room, until the pivotal moment rematerializes.
The Concept
Our virtual reality project focuses on the emotional relationships between the player and the experience of the virtual environment. To do so, in addition to a VR headset, we use an electrocardiogram to produce an evolving, immersive, and interactive narrative.
Our artistic research explores the creation of emotional environments in “3D pointillism” using Unreal Engine’s Niagara plugin and gravitational elements. This visual style adapts precisely to heart rate variations, allowing figurative elements to “dissolve” into points that later rematerialize into other figurative forms.
The emotional biomes will be composed of floating particles of color and light, transforming through morphing techniques according to variations in heart rate.
